Parent Volunteer	Mission- § To assist all parents to complete 35 hours per year of service to the school Goals- § To provide volunteers to support school activities § Assist the work of other committees
Hosting Social Events	Mission- § Get parents, staff, students to socialize Goals- § Provide refreshments during events § Coordinate & Host social event- one a semester
Fundraising	Mission- § Being made aware of the financial, academic, and educational needs of the students § Find ways and ideas to raise funds to provide for those needs Goals- § Tap into community resources to meet the student need § Provide necessary tools for social and school events
Public Relations	Mission- § Supports other committees by opening lines of communication within the school community and between the school and community at large § Informs public of school accomplishments § Promotes school’s mission by creating awareness in business and professional community of the school’s presence and needs in order to obtain support Goals- § Establish 501c3
Advisory	Mission- § Help students of AV to achieve personal and academic goals. § Communicating with other parents, gather concerns and issues and present solutions to school administrators. Goals- § Solicit communication from parents and staff on issues. § Put together plan for each issue. § Present recommendation to school administration. § Help implement solutions.
